Yes, loads of people have it done.

But a types can't be tatooed over.

I'd make an appointment with a tattoo artist to check that your scars can be tatooed over.

Yes you can
Yeah, but it's going to hurt. It's best to make sure they won't break open, too.
You should get a scar cream.

There are some natural stuff that I hear works.
yes but it may hurt a bit on the scars
yes but it will hurt
Waiting a year after the scar formed would be good, waiting two would be even better. At that point, and only at that point, will it be possible to determine if your particular scar can be tattooed over.

The good news is that most scars can be tattooed successfully. A tattoo artist experienced in covering scars will know what kind of designs and colors can cover it effectively and which ones can't, so be sure to see a qualified artist.

The one main exception to the rule is a scar that has keloided. If it's significantly raised above the surface of the skin, it may not be possible to tattoo over the scar. Not only would it be difficult to tattoo, but further tattooing in that sensitive area may only lead to additional keloiding.

If you'd like to have a scar covered with a tattoo, make an appointment with your tattoo artist for a consultation to decide what can reasonably be done.
