I have white fluoride scars on my teeth from braces, what works to get rid of them / conceal them ?

Ive been thinking about those one hour in office whitening systems ? Ive used the at home kits with custom trays and honestly it only seems like they make the scars a brighter white and do nothing for my teeth..what about ';acid-pumice micoarbrasion';..can anyone tell me about that? Id really like to hear from anyone whos had these scars on their teeth and what they did about it.i do NOT want caps or veneers, my teeth are strong theyre just scarred.I have white fluoride scars on my teeth from braces, what works to get rid of them / conceal them ?
I'm a dentist.

Those aren't fluoride scars. Those are decalcifications caused by inadequate oral hygiene when you had your braces.

Whitening your teeth can help mask them by making the rest of the tooth closer in color to these decalcified areas, but getting rid of them without using a drill is impossible. Expect to have fillings or veneers in order to get rid of them.I have white fluoride scars on my teeth from braces, what works to get rid of them / conceal them ?
Most likely that ';white scars'; are not from fluoride.

Unfortunately, if teeth are not cleaned thoroughly

when wearing braces, enamel decalcification can occur.

';White spots or marks on the teeth are caused by damage to the enamel of your teeth from bacterial plaque accumulation around the braces. The bacteria in the plaque produces acids that actually dissolve away the enamel and cause the white marks known as enamel decalcification. ';

Whitening products most likely won't work to match

the areas- it will just lighten the entire tooth but the different

shades would still be noticeable.

The only link I could find that offers a solution is:

never heard of this before but worth asking about).
Nearly a decade back, there was only one way of whitening the teeth. It was by getting the dentist to carry out the teeth whitening. It was an arduous process but as more and more people got enchanted by the thought of having white teeth, many companies started bringing various bleaching formulas and teeth whitening kits regularly in the market.

Today dental in-office tooth whitening is not ................
